Luna Ahmad

Luna Ahmad assists DDG attorneys in federal criminal cases and complex factual investigations involving the FBI, U.S. Secret Service, and other federal law enforcement agencies. She participates in witness and client interviews, handles sensitive and privileged information and evidence, and prepares internal memoranda summarizing factual research. Luna regularly shadows DDG attorneys in court and assists with trial and hearing preparation.
She previously interned at Banque du Liban, the Central Bank of Lebanon, and at the Qatar office of Eversheds Sutherland, a major international law firm, where she assisted attorneys in the firm’s transactional practice.

Luna recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC) with a bachelor of arts in political science and triple minors in legal studies, psychology, and international studies. While at UNCC, she was an active member of the UNCC Legal Society, served as a mentor with College Mentors for Kids, and represented her peers as a student government senator.

Luna is currently enrolled in a paralegal program at University of North Carolina at Charlotte School of Professionals and plans to attend law school in the future.
She is fluent in English, Arabic, and French.
